Anatomy of Regal Craftsmanship
Every curve, thread and gemstone is hand-anchored by hereditary artisans in the walled city of Jaipur.
Pure Heirloom Provenance
Mastering the Zardozi Needle
Unlike industrial machine embroidery, an authentic hand-made juti needs a continuous needle tension anchored directly into high-tensile silk stretched over a wooden adda frame. Each motif is tied with silk thread so no loop can come loose.
Sole joined to the upper without toxic adhesives, using waxed natural flax thread.
High-density 6mm foam padded in soft velvet, for a long day on your feet.

Pure heirloom provenance
Organic fibres & bark-tanned leather
- Upper fabric
- Hand-loomed raw mulberry silk, dyed with natural madder root and rose extract.
- Embellishments
- Freshwater seed pearls, antique gota-patti wire and glass micro-bugle beads.
- Sole and heel
- Camel and calf leather tanned with babool bark and mustard oil, chrome-free.

The sacred curve
How royal jutis mould to your stride
A hand-made juti has no left or right when it arrives. Over the first few hours the vegetable-tanned sole warms with your body heat and takes the exact curve of your foot.
Wear your new pair indoors with thin cotton socks for 30 minutes, two days before the ceremony. The silk and the footbed will shape to your stride.

Heirloom longevity
Preserving silk and metallic zari for decades
- Cedarwood box
- Store the pair in the box it arrived in. Cedar keeps moisture and insects away from silk.
- Cleaning
- Spot clean only, with a soft dry brush. Do not apply water or chemicals to hand-dyed silk.

Master Ustad Rahimuddin
4th generation zardozi master, Johari Bazaar, Jaipur
Hereditary guild of Rajasthan
Each stitch is an oath to our ancestors, who clothed the maharanis of Jaipur.
In our ancestral workshop tucked inside the narrow sandstone lanes of Johari Bazaar, my family has practised the royal art of court embroidery since 1928. Every pearl is anchored with double silk ties, so the bride can dance through her wedding night with the poise and dignity of a queen.
